Women have made more than their share of contributions the development and history of this planet. National Women In History month gives us time to pause and take note and to recognize ands honor these contributions.

The sites below are only a very small sample of the information available on the Internet and at your local library. Three of the sites listed should be noted for their extraordinary work in research materials and presentation.

About.Com, as it has with just about every subject under the sun, has some of the most exhaustive lists to information you can find. About.Com, once known as "The Mining Company" is without a doubt one of the premier information sources on the Internet.

Cal Poly Pamona University has 28 links to information including Women's speeches from around the world, The national Women's Hall of Fame, and Web sites for girls.

Last is the National Women's History Project. They are one of the driving forces behind Women's History Month and the source for much of my research in information.
